when FH & I first decided to go to Hawaii our parents tried to talk us out of it. telling us that its an unnecessary expense. vacations is the one thing that over the years FH & I have always felt where a waste of money. (that's just us).
by the time of the wedding we will be together 10 years. our 'vacations' have included weekends upstate, NY at my parents house (not a vacation) & 1 weekend in Boston.
we are going all out with this honeymoon. this is the one time where we both see spending all this money is well worth it. not only will it be our honeymoon but i just finished college in June & FH will be finishing in January. we feel that a really, really nice vacation is well deserved!!

you definitely deserve to treat yourselfs to a great honeymoon. You both need to get away after the wedding to destress from the planning and to celebrate your new life together! its def a once in a life time trip so i think its totally worth it![]()

im sure you can do a wonderful 7day all inclusive without breaking the bank.

I truly believe your honeymoon is the one trip you shouldnt feel guilty about splurging on. Friends that have been married several years all look back and are so glad they splurged -- because they likely wont take another trip like that again.
ITA, and thats why FH and I are definitely slurging away for our HM.....DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!!!!
