My fiance just asked me to pick out 5 places where I would like to go on our hm. Since it is hurricane season in October, I really do not know. Can you guys give me some help. I would really appreciate it.
We don't want to spend alot of money. I would say something around 5k the most. All inclusive may be the best choice.

I would stay away from the Carribean in October. What about a Cruise in Greece? I have seen some reasonable prices for those.

We are going to Nevis. They were not affected by hurricanes last year.

FYI - Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are all below the hurricane belt - so they shouldn't be affected by any hurricanes if that's a concern.

Very reasonably priced and not too far to travel. I've been to Cancun before and we're honeymooning in Cabos San Lucas. If you want any details i'd be happy to help. FM if you like

We're going to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to an all-inclusive for a week for less than $5k.

We are going to Jamaica for ours. That is a beautiful island (as long as you stay out of certain areas and stay with tour guides). Our wedding is in October and I'm not too concerned about hurricanes.

My own personal opinion (everyone's got one) - I've been all over the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Caymans, St. Lucia, Cozumel, Cancun, Belize, Aruba, Bahamas, Turks/Caicos, Jamaica, St. Maarten) and would choose the following:
For island scenery: St. Lucia
For beach: Grand Cayman, Aruba
For scuba diving/sea-life: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Turks and Caicos, Belize
For nightlife: Cancun, Puerto Rico
For economy and great all-inclusive: Jamaica
For gambling: Bahamas, Puerto Rico
For great topside activities: Cancun/Cozumel (Mayan Ruins); Belize (jungle); St. Lucia (volcano, sulpher springs)
