Are you a big beach person? I've never been to either, but I've heard that the beach at Moon Palace isn't the greatest, But again, this is just what I read on tripadvisor.com when I was researching...
Sorry I don't know much about moon palace
I am going to Moon Palace. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about it. There is so much more to do in mexico, and when you stay at a Palace resort you get access to all of them. There is a beach at Moon palace but there are know for the pool and golf. Food is excellent and so much of it. Tons to do, plenty of excursions. Feel free to FM me for info.
Secrets is supposed to be excellent. I was actually booked for my HM in August, but the hurricane season worried me so I switched to Aruba. BUT, I have heard nothing but excellent reviews on trip advisor and I know a few people who went and loved it. I can't wait to visit sometime when I don't have to worry about hurricanes!
