Honeymoon help

Honeymoon help

My FH and I are planning on going to either Mexico or St. Lucia for our honeymoon (we are going during hurricane season so these are the places to least likely get hit) Any advice on where to stay that is all inclusive? I've looked at a few places but need some assistance. Also pictures are good.

If any of you ladies have another Honeymoon suggestion for that time of year please feel free to chime in.

thanks

Re: Honeymoon help

Aruba and Curacao are both out of the hurricane belt.

You can also get hurricane insurance so that your plans are not ruined by a hurricane, and you won't lose your money.

The Sandals in St. Lucia is great. I have not been there in a while - I forget which one is the newest/best one. But I'm sure someone here has been there recently.

Check out Sandals. They will send you a free brochure describing all of them if you go on their site

Sandals Grande in St Lucia {newest one} Excellence in Riviera Maya, royal hideaway is nice. Iberostar hotels. {cancun Area} but if you want to be 100% sure go to Aruba or Curacao.

My cousin stood at Sandals in St. Lucia and was not very happy with it. She thought it wasn't worth the money.

I was going to suggest Sandals for St. Lucia. For mexico all inclusive check out Palace Resorts A friend of mine went to a DM wedding there and said it was amazing.

Have you checked trip advisor yet? There are soooo many AI's on both those places! Most look amazing!

This is our place, El Dorado Royale. All-inclusive, no kids, 20 minutes away from the Cancun airport in Riviera Maya.

I can't wait!!

Re: Honeymoon help

We looked at El Dorado. I need to convince him to go. We were also looking into a cruise up north for the fall foilage and they seem to have some good excursions. Something different. I figured that if we decided that we don't want to take a chance with a hurricane then I can go with him during the winter months just as a mini vacation
