Some of you know that for our honeymoon, FH and i are going on a western caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. It is leaving a week and a day after our wedding so FH and i are spending a week someplace in Florida. I found an amazing hotel right on the beach for a really reasonable rate. The hotel is in Boca Raton which i always thought was an area with an older population. From what i googled though it does seem to have a pretty good night life with a lot of things to do. Does anyone know anything about the area??? Does anyone else have any suggestions of where else to stay in Boca or other areas in Florida?? Our cruise is leaving out of Miami. Hotel Info

Re: Honeymoon help!!!
Boca is beautiful! Lots of shopping around. My grandparents live there. We stayed there a week and had a great time. We unfortunatley didnt do any partying, but we did go to the beach!

Re: Honeymoon help!!!
I lived in South Florida for 4 years so I know a lot about the area. Boca is really nice, has beautiful beaches and some great shopping. Misner Park (close to your hotel) has nice places to eat. It does tend to be slightly older and a little snobby. As far as nightlife, in my 4 years in Florida, I never heard of anyone going to Boca to go out.
As far as nightlife, I would recommend Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood. Miami is also nice (only if you like to go to clubs).
Sorry, I really dont know much about the hotels because Ive never stayed in them.
South Florida is beautiful and you will have a great time no matter where you stay. FM me if you want more info!

lol I actually work at that hotel.. Theres not much do to in Boca as far as nightlife. If your cruise is in and out of miami why are you staying in boca and not miami? The nightlife is so much better in miami. Have you booked the room at the Boca hotel yet???
