I am starting to look into honeymoon options. FH and I are getting married in March, but we plan to take our honeymoon in July because I am a teacher. Neither of us have travelled much and we are open to a lot of options, but we are really looking for something affordable. Someone suggested renting a beach house in the Outer Banks, NC and I thought that sounded like a nice idea. We have never been there. Does anyone have any suggestions, or is there anyone who has been to OBX who can tell me about it? Thanks!

I've been to OBX....its so beautiful there. We stayed on a family part of the area but I know there is a lot of romantic more couple friendly areas to look into. I'm sure there are tons of websites. You can even go to the beach and see wild horses running...so romantic!

Oh, that sounds amazing! I have been obsessively looking at rental homes on different sites for about an hour. It looks beautiful! One of the things I really want to do on our honeymoon is ride horses on the beach! Thanks for your input.
