OK so anyone that knows me knows that FH and I were planning Tahitian honeymoon since the moment we got engaged. Now we are thinking it might not be the best idea we've ever had - we can afford it but we are starting to second guess if its worth the expense when we really want to buy a house. Not only that once you get to the islands everything is 3x as much as anywhere else. I don't mind paying alot of money for food but I want quality.
Can you ladies help me with some ideas? I'm thinking Mexico maybe the LeBlanc hotel and spa.
Any other ideas? Just no sandals please - we've both been before.

Excellence Riviera Maya is supposed to be top notch.
If you are looking for 5 star, I've heard the Ritz in St Thomas is being completely overhauled... and a lot of ppl swear by Sandy Lane in Barbados.

OK so i totally understand this! FH & I were thinking Tahiti or Bora Bora etc. Then we werethinking Canary Islands. BUT in Feb its nthot enough. Its a bit expensive but could be worth it fo ryou guys to look into. But if you'd rather do something less expensive but still great. Look into Aruba. OR Barbuda is beauitiful (yes Barbuda not Bermuda lol). How about Barbados?? All beauiful! G/L HTH!

we are going to the same place - roof top villa.. something like that.. our room is 2 floors the second floor has our own private pool and outdoor bedroom furniture i have only heard rave reviews on tripadvisor
