I have 5 min, so I'm gonna type quickly and than get back to work:
Being that Hawaii is coming out to be really expensive and theres no all inclusive, which means more money, my FH and I are debating of holding off on Hawaii until our 1 year anny, and go somewhere else that may be cheaper. Here are my options that are coming out to be cheaper
St. Lucia St. Croix St. Thomas Ibiza( I love this one, but I only got info on one hotel... the airfare comes out to be slightly cheaper than Hawaii!)
We are looking for something exotic with beautiful beaches and interesting features. Anything cheaper than Hawaii would be ideal.
Does any one have ideas or opinions?

have you thought about a hawaiian cruise? my friend did this and she said the price wasnt that bad. worst part was flights...but you can search for good deals. a cruise is all inclusive and you get to see a few of the hawaiian islands!

we are in the same boat...we would love to do hawaii or fiji but both are really expensive...we havent decided what we are going to do yet...

skip st thomas and got o st maarten. i went to both last month. st maarten is the only place i would stay a week. u shuld look into a hawain cruise.. or a cruise to europe. ncl leaves out of ny and goes to spain and some other countries..then u fly back from spain.. or u can fly to spain and cruise back to ny and its dirt cheap..like 1100 a person. for 12-14 nights.

IA with the girls who are saying look at a cruise...my parents cruised Hawaii and absolutely loved it! I believe you fly to Hawaii and you get on the boat there...then you just island hop. The cruises have a lot of opportunities for excursions and on the boat EVERYTHING is included (besides soda and alcohol)

FH and I just decided the same thing...we are going to Hawaii for our 1 yr anniversary. For our honeymoon we are prob going to St. Lucia, I know a lot of people that have been there and they say thats it beautiful!! I was also just speaking to someone @ work the other day and she was raving about sandals St. Lucia, thats where they went on their HM and loved it so much that we actually went back for their 1 yr.

We are going to Hawaii...probably booking with Travel Tom in the next month or so....he told me the other top 2 places are Costa Rica and St. Lucia, both have beautiful beaches but lots to do.
If you want some info on Hawaii though, FM me, I can give you a pretty accruate quote that I got

Look into Rendezvous Resort in St. Lucia. I saw the pics when my friend came back it was georgous and she had a blast! It is Adult only (18+), All inclusive, and comparable to sandals. I would definalty ask a travel agent for more details or at least google it. since I was looking to go to St. Lucia too she did tell me to avoid the Almond Morgan Bay resort. she said everyone she met who stayed there didn't like it. But that's only going on word of mouth...

i would do either St Lucia or St thomas, ive been to st thomas and we loved it! i know like 3 other couples that went to st lucia and also had a great time (they have private villas!!) I would steer clear of ibiza... thats like a singles hot spot and is pretty much only known for their beach and partying JMO

Yea maybe try costa rica? Thats where we are looking into going.

I stopped at St. Thomas and St. Lucia on previous cruises I have taken. Well St.Lucia is really the only island I am DYING to get back to. FH and I are 99% sure thats what we are doing for our HM... there are 3 sandals resorts there and you can stay at one and use all 3... so there are tons of incuded restaurants to chose from, lots to do...
St.Lucia is absolutley BREATH TAKING!!!! St.Tomas is fun but I presonally thought Lucia was nicer. I have never been to St.Croix, or Ibiza so I am no help to you there... if you have anyother questions about the other 2 don't be afraid to ask!
I have been to St.Maarten also, and I agree skip St.Tomas and consider that one too... St.Lucia and St.Maarten have been my fav's.... I still vote for St.Lucia though....
