Hey all! quick question. FH and I are looking for a fun place to honeymoon that has some outdoor excursions but still allows for plenty of romance. we were debating about going to Croatia. we looked it up and it sounds really great but don't really know anyone who has gone. anyone been for their honeymoon or considering going? feedback would be great!! thanks :)
We spent some time in Dubrovnik, Croatia a few years ago. Dubrovnik is the old walled city. It's really beautiful and its good for wandering around the top of the walls and taking a lift to the top of the mountain. We also happened upon this little cafe that was built into the side of the cliff overlooking the sea and had drinks and relaxed. I thought it was beautiful and I'd love to go back. I'm not sure I would spend more than a couple days in Dubrovnik though. It's fairly small. I would look into also going to Split and Hvar. I've heard awesome things about Hvar, but never been there myself. Hope that helps!
