Due to FH having a new job, we didn't know if he was going to be able to take vacation time for our HM. He just found out they should approve it early next week. Yes, cutting it close I know. I just have so much to do these last couple weeks that I don't have time to really research many places. If anyone can give me some suggestions to consider, I'd really appreciate it. Here are the requirements:
- no passport needed (FH doesn't have one) - ten day time frame (means no Hawaii ) - probably Caribbean or Mexico - must be a luxury (I'd say four or five star) - if all-inclusive, food must be incredible (this is FH's requirement) - nightlife available - sightseeing and local town close-by
I know, a lot of requirements but any suggestions are welcome - TIA!!!
ETA: see my last post and help if you can! Thanks!

Re: Honeymoon help ASAP!!!
A cruise is great and the food is amazing. You could do Hawaii in 10 days. My HM is 14 days long 2 nights in San Fan 10 nights in Hawaii and 2 nights in Vegas. Aruba? Bahamas? St. Lucia? mexico? Key West?

Re: Honeymoon help ASAP!!! ETA- Hawaii????
FH really, really wants Hawaii in our time frame. We have a day wedding, so he would be willing to leave the night of 6/26 if that helps. He has to be back at work on 7/8. Anyone who's going to Hawaii... how do the flights work? Which islands and how much time on each island for the must-see things? Anyplace to avoid or not worth the time? If we go, I'd like to see Pearl Harbor and all the natural beauty things like volcanos and waterfalls. As for budget, it's our honeymoon so if we have to charge it and pay it off we will but I'd like to stay below 10k. Can anyone help me???

We are doing Hawaii in 10 days. We are stopping in Oahu first, then Kuai, and last Maui. Don't spend too much time in Oahu, but the other 2 however you want to break it up

Think about the Royal Hideaway in RIvera Maya Mexico. Great reviews and the food is supposed to be fabulous.
YOu just need a birth certificate ( original) and a Drivers License.
Or check out the Four Seasons in Nevis. If you want real luxury.

I dont know what your budget is, but is there a reason you cant go to Hawaii for 10 days? That's we are doing and our trip meets all of your requirements
FYI... I needed a passport to go to Turks and Caicos. Look into Puerta Rico too

Sorry, didnt see this earlier. We are getting married on Sat. and leaving for Hawaii on Monday. We will do 5 days in Hawaii and 5 on Maui. On each island we have two 'planned' activities, but we have the option to do more. One activity includes the waterfall tour of Hawaii. We are paying $5488 - staying at 2 five star hotels (however, not all inclusive). That includes 4 activities, hotel and airfare.
I would contact celebrate-travel.com and see if they can do something for you quickly. They really are awesomee.

Re: Honeymoon help ASAP!!! ETA - Hawaii????
Like I said we are doing hawaii in 10 days. We are doing 14 days total 2 nights in San Fran. 3 nights in oahu 3 nights in Kaui and 3 nights in Maui. 2 nights in Vegas. It was I think 7000.00 or 8,000.00 and we are staying at REALLY nice Hotels. All Hyatts. It can definetly be done we booked through Liberty Travel in Levittown. She took care of all the flights and hotels and car rentals (on Maui and Kaui we are not renting on Oahu since its kind of like a city) we are going to be visiting pearl harbor. doing a luau and the fern grotto and the road to hana in Maui and helicopter in Kaui those are our for sure things. Liberty can book luau and helicopter for you. Let me see what I can come up with ill do some searching of my own. If you go there are a few of us who will all be in Hawaii at the same time we all should try and meet up for dinner. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.

Re: Honeymoon help ASAP!!! ETA - Hawaii????
I think you can do Hawaii in 10 days but I'd stick to no more than 2 islands. Most of the flights leave early in the AM but you might be able to find something that leaves later- remember, you gain 5 or 6 hours when you fly to Hawaii from NY so even if you left at 8 PM, you'd get there in time for dinner- you'd just be exhausted! You could leave first thing the next morning and still have 1/2 a day there. Our flight leaves from LGA at 8:30 AM and we get into Maui at 3:30 PM that day.
Here are a few ideas you could do: 1) Maui for 7 nights & Lanai for 2-3 nights. My sister in law did that and loved it. Lanai is totally luxury and very peaceful- you wouldn't want to stay there for more then 2-3 days anyway. 2) Maui for 6 days & Kauai or Big Island for 4 days.
Just remember, the first day is a travel day and you will probably be tired the next day so you may only have 8 full days to do things but that might be enough. My parents went recently for 1 week and they had a blast but they only went to the Big Island.
I heard recently that Expedia.com was having specials to Hawaii. Since it's so close, you might be able to get a discount anywhere- speak to a travel agent and see what you can get.

Re: Honeymoon help ASAP!!! ETA - Hawaii????
Thanks everyone! My FH really has his heart set on Hawaii and I don't think he'll really be happy anywhere else. We're going to Liberty Travel tomorrow to see what we can work out and I'm going to check the websites you listed. Thank you so much!!! And if we are in Hawaii at the same time as any of you, we'd love to meet you for dinner!
