HONEYMOON HELP PLEASE! (Also posted on 2011 Board)

Hi Ladies!! I need some help choosing my honeymoon. I have been back and forth with locations. It pretty much changes every single week! I have done so much research online checking out resorts and reviews on Trip Advisior, and I have also read A LOT about honeymoons on LIW. From what I've learned, Riviera Maya in Mexico seems to be the best bang for your buck! I've read some really great reviews! I am torn between 2 resorts and I was hoping you ladies could help me out. The two I am torn between are El Dorado Royale and Excellence Playa Mujeres. Has anyone been to either of these resorts? Would you recommend one over the other? I truly appreciate any helpful info. you can give!!!! Thanks so much!

we just stayed there in september and absolutely loved it!

fh was weary of an all inclusive but seriously we this place is amazing

the staff is super nice and helpful

and the food really is gourmet, absolutely amazing food! so so so good!

very romantic, mostly couples at the resort...we can't wait to go back! they also have another resort on the property called Casitas, if I were you Id look into splurging and maybe staying there for the last 2 nights of your HM

they are private little huts with private pools or jacuzzis so so so romantic!!!!

Im a travel agent myself and I am going crazy on trying to figure out where to go!

Im also considering Riviera Maya and the Excellence.... I am looking at this one because they have a ton of activities and FH needs to be doing stuff at all t imes! LOL he isnt a lounge chair person like me! hahhaa

My girlfriend is going to the Excellence in Punta Cana next week, and I cant wait to hear her review on it!

My FH is the same way! Constantly needs to be occupied! I've heard mixed reviews on the Excellence in Punta Cana, but so far I haven't heard anything bad on the Playa Mujeres resort or the El Dorado

check the brides review board, there was a girl there that went to el dorado royale for her honeymoon too...i forget her name but i know she used jadore love as photo, she was an 10 bride

My parents are at Excellence right now - for the second time. They are big travelers and they both say thats the best place.
