OK, I finally got off my tookus and called the travel agent to book our honeymoon!! I have to decide like asap...
Basically with our budget and time frame we have 4 options... i have NO clue how to decide... any help would be SOOO appreciated!! Did i mention that we are paying for this by ourselves... TIA!!! Is it really worth it for the extra night?? URG Decisions, decisions....
Option 1: Secrets Excellence in Domincan Republic, 6 nights $3640
Option 2: Secrets Excellence in Dominican Republic, 5 nights, $3036
I am doing Moon Palace for 7 nights, and Avenutra Spa Palace for 4. FM with questions.

I didn't vote but I would check tripadvisor.com for reviews and then do the 1 day less. If the money is a little tight now closer to the wedding, then 1 day really won't make much difference.

I'm also biased because we're doing Secrets Excellence for 8 days / 7 nights.
Just remember, whatever amount of time you book, take the day after off to recouperate!!

Secrets Excellence - and stay for as long as you can!! Though I'm also bias b/c that is where we are going

I've been to DR Secrets Excellence, and 5 nights is enough imo. $600 extra is not worth it.
There isn't much to do unless you venture out of the resort and go on excursions.
we stayed 7 nights and by the 6th night I couldn't wait to be back in my own country.

Secrets Excellence, I have heard great things about it. I would do the 6 nights. It is not much more, and it is your HM. You'll be happy you stayed one more night.
