After some research, we decided Hawaii might not be the place for us.
We don't mind spending, but with house hunting and all, we're looking for another option. We want a nice resort somewhere tropical. Any recommendations?

San Juan Marriott is beautiful. I also love Bermuda - Elbow Beach is a great resort.

We were set on Hawaii too, then changed our minds. We went to Sandals in St. Lucia and it was awesome!!!!!! Check out sandals.com

I was just going to say this...my cousin just went there and LOVED it. I've also had friends go to Aruba who loved that as well.

Our TA said we would get a lot more for our money in Mexico....and she was right.
Our total package price for a resort in Mexico was how much it cost for one person at one of the Sandals we were looking at.

We are going to the Sarojin Resort in Thailand.
I have heard amazing things and the rate is wonderful. The only thing is it's not an all inclusive.
Just got back from Sandals in St. Lucia and it was amazing - I absolutely recommend going there on your honeymoon!

For our HM, we went to Anguilla and we had SUCH an amazing time. We stayed at Cap Juluca which was amazing. They had a lot of things for you to do if you wanted (like day-trips for snorkeling, etc.) or you could just relax on the beach. For our one-year anniversary, we went to Barbados and stayed at The House , which was very similar to Cap Juluca (although I think we enjoyed Anguilla a little more). We used John from MAS Travel for both trips and he got us great deals
