We are going to the Poconos and getting the suite with the 7 ft champagne glass hot tub, for a trip right after the wedding and then for our one year aniversary we are thinking of a cruise.

Were going an a cruise out of NY for 8 days with an extended balcony- 2200. Include a couple hundred more for excusions and drinks and were looking at under 3K for what I think is a nice trip.

What about going on a cruise? Or the all-inclusive thing sounds likea good idea too.

We are doing a 7 ngt/ 8 day cruise in the Carribbean and then we are staying in Aruba for 4 ngt. We got a deal w/ my my mom's friend for her time share in Aruba but we also priced it on our own it was about $5,500 which isn't bad for a honeymoon. This included airfare.

I'm going to Riviera Maya (basically a couple of miles from Playa) for the HM and it came in MUCH cheaper than most other places I reseached. We're also staying at a 5 star all-inclusive resort. FM me for more info

Re: HONEYMOON IDEAS?

I think you should do a cruise. You can get an amazing deal by shopping around, booking very early or by booking last minute. I think last minute is a little risky but it might also be fun to not know until a copule of weeks before your wedding. For example, I got an email from Continental airlines for last minute cruise deals this December, with prices starting at $279 (inside stateroom). Suites were well under $1000 and rooms with a vie were around $500.

All-Inclusive is the way to go...we went to Riviera Maya for 5 nights this summer and spent around $2000 inc. airfare
