Hey ladies! Can you recommend some nice places and resorts to go on a honeymoon that isn't too expensive? I wouldn't mind an all inclusive if the food was good and all. I went to Sandals Antigua and the Dominican Republic two years ago. I'm trying to explore our options since this wedding is so expensive and we have our house to pay for. TIA!

Yes, I wouldn't mind it. I really wanted to go to Europe but by the way the wedding is costing, I don't know how possible it is :(

Re: Honeymoon Ideas
Are you planning on going right after the wedding? I would just take a look at the weather to where you're going - during my search, I saw a bunch of the Carribean areas were I think in Hurricane Season around June-November (I might be wrong too hah). Check out Punta Cana - they have some awesome all inclusive places there.

Jamaica Couples Resorts (Couples.com). All-Inclusive and the resorts are beautiful and you get a lot included. You can get a weeks vacay for under $3k for both of you.

I dunno if you wanted to do a cruise, but FH and I feel like it was the best way to go for us. We are going on a 15 day cruise and it is going to be around $6,0000 for the both of us, it goes to aruba, columbia, panama, costa rica, mexico.

FH and I were stuck too with what we wanted to do. We wanted to do Ireland but the weather isnt great and like someone said, I am worried I would be stuck seeing fam the whole time. He isn't a huuuuge fan of tropical islands. He is not the lay in the sun type of guy. We decided on New orleans. I went there once for work for a week and it was the only place I ever went to that I def. wanted to go back to before I get preggos. We might take a 4 day cruise from there too.
Our 1 year anniversary we are doing a 2 week trip to europe.

Re: Honeymoon Ideas
Aruba is gorgeous, i've stayed in the occidental which is all inclusive and i can't complain about it! The weather was gorgeous and the food was good. How was Antigua Sandals? I was looking into that for our honeymoon but the reviews are just so bad, i can't look past it even though i usually do. Good Luck on choosing a honeymoon!!!

For Sandals Antigua, you need to stay on the new Mediterranean side. It's beautiful. We had soo much fun. Check out my album :)
