There are some of us who have booked their honeymoons and then there are those of us who have not. FH and I can't really seem to figure out where we want to go...but we will probably go somewhere for 10 days (i think) approx. 3 weeks after our wedding.
Here are some things that have made our list: 1. Sandals St. Lucia 2. Hawaii (if we do this, it will months after wedding) 3. Aruba (FH's vote)

right now 5 nights in new zealand and 5 nights in bora bora is winning but i am still waiting to talk to a travel agent to price it out.
greece and hawaii are also being considered. love this part of the planning.

Hey!
Just as you I really wanted to do a longer, 10+ days HM. I just feel that after 3 years of planning and being broke we deserve a longgg vaca. However when I started pricing sandals, excellence etc, I realized that in our budget range we would only be able to do 5 days max.. I ended up booking a 12 day cruise =) It cost 3069 for both of us n leave out of bayonne so we arent spending $$ on airfaree...

My list was 1. Tahiti 2. St. Lucia 3. Aruba 4. Barbados 5. Hawaii
I was so relieved when we booked we were disagreeing on where to go and how much to spend for like a month lol

We were all over the place and then when we said Aruba it just stuck.
First we said Cabo, then Domincan Republic and then Aruba.
We booked 9 days at the Riu in Aruba!

We are most likely getting the flights for free from credit card rewards, so we want to try to go somewhere we can use the flights. But we are ALL over the place.

I wanted to do a mediterranean cruise again but we wont be able to afford.
Then I wanted to do Disney (I've never been) but then I figured by that time some schools might be out and the place will be crowded.
So now we're thinking Puerto Rico. It's not a long flight and it shouldn't be that expensive and since FH has never been there I thought it would be a good time for him to see my homeland (I'm 1/2 puerto rican).

We are planning on doing Excellence Playa Mujerer in Mexico for 10 days. We wont be booking for quite some time. We want to wait til Jetblue airfare is available and possibly some deals come into effect.
Everything seems to be crazy expensive!

Im getting married next august. August /sept is part of hurricane season that why i decided it should be hawaii or aruba. Hawaii would have to stretch our budget a bit and i would want to do 2 weeks after that log plane ride and stressful planning. Aruba i think is a lil more realistic for us. Its americanized as well and beautiful. They also have all inclusives as well as regular hotels. St lucia is beautiful but again hurricane season

Also considering, Puerto Rico & Dominican Republic
Our wedding is in January but I don't want to take any additional time off of work so we are waiting to go on HM during my spring Recess in April

This! I was looking at the Caribbean and decided to go somewhere with cheaper airfare.
