Sooo.......My fiance and I have been talking about honeymoon places but can't decide on anywhere. Plus, Our wedding is in October....Hurricane season for the Carribean.
Any suggestions of where to go where there will be NO hurricanes?? hahaha!

We are headed to the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun. We are also going in October and we got trip insurance just to be safe. Good luck!

We got married October 4th and headed out for our honeymoon on October 5th. We went to Paris for one day and then to Greece for 6 days. It was an amazing honeymoon. NO crowds!
ditto! If you do decide to go the french polynesian islands then I would highly recommend Claudia from Pacific for less! She'll get you a great deal and she's super nice to talk to!

Did all of you go through a travel agency? My Fiance doesnt want to do that cause he thinks it would be cheaper doing it ourselves.....I myself disagree.....

Didn't go through a travel agent. Just looked online and booked the hotel and airfare ourselves.
How about Aruba or Cabo ( Weather is beautiful all year round) We are going to Cabo

A few thoughts - FH and I went on vacation last year to Puerto Vallarta, the West Coast of Mexico, and we had the time of our lives. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort, the Marival, I think the website is something like gomarival.com.mx, but you could google it. We paid about 3,000 for the both of us, including all meals, alcohol and our flights!! It is a little less traveled than the rest of Mexico. Our room was incredible, we had an ocean front suite with a balcony overlooking the pool. The restaurants at the resort were amazing. I highly recommend it. It is not cheesy at all, as some all-inclusives can be. It was all new and just a great experience. There is a spa there, so perfect set-up for a honeymoon. Not a lot of kids running around and a fun nightlife.
Secondly, I would highly recommend using a travel agent for a trip as important as your hm. God-forbid if anything goes wrong, you have someone here who you can call to straighten out for you. For example, my mother is a retired travel agent and she took care of my FSIL's honeymoon a few years ago to St. Lucia. They missed their connecting flight back to New York from Puerto Rico and were practically stranded. They called their travel agent and she got them on another flight right away. I just think its the safest bet.
