I've never really gone anywhere nor has FH...so we're kind of shooting in the dark here and I'm sure that anywhere we go we'll love . We are tapped out from the wedding so finances are also a concern..all that being said we are looking into Sandals resorts. We heard Dunns River Jamaica was incredible and it's also very reasonably priced. That's where we;re thinking of going but I'm just wondering if any of you have ever been there and what it's like?
Also, I keep reading about secrets resort on here too..in cancun and maya rivieria or something.

i would say to go with a sandals resort.
Never been to the place you mentioned though sorry. Are you looking for a more beachy laid back relaxed honeymoon?
go on tripadvisor and look up that hotel, there are always tons of reviews from people who stayed there

I wanted a place with lots of restaurants, cafe's, bars, lounges and stuff like that, where we can go to dinner and then dancing or gambling after but definitely not spring break hahaha. Well not sure how sandals is in jamaica that youre looking at so im sorry have no clue and cant help with that. I went to an all inclusive in the bahamas, you do have a few restaurants in the place so you'd probably just eat at those. The hotel has a club and activities at night, i went to the club one time and left, there were alot of ppl there but also there were ALOT of adults and i mean alot older and it was more of a family club so all my friends and I took a cab into town where the locals were and partied there lol. ALso about 2 hotels down there was a casino so we did that alot. BUT i REALLY REALLY dont suggest you do that with jamaica, infact dont leave the resorts.

I agree! i can tell you jamaica was not 'spring breakers' there were alot of honeymooners and older couples when i went.

bahamas is mixed crowds...it really depends on where you stay!

yeah its weird bc at different stages you just feel different. I remember how i felt at 2-3 months and now with about 5 weeks its just crazy, i feel like im going to be married any day now oh its not even things i havent done yet lol bc i feel the same, all the important things are done and what i dont get to finish is fine. But i am now thinking about so many different things such as being way under my minimum or going to much over and paying alot more. Then i keep having these weird things about not liking how im going to look, and just stupid things also my parents want to invite somebody that always does stupid things

Holy crap, I know exactly what you mean on so many counts....my mom just called me the other day adding people to the list I don't even know...she isn't even payig for the wedding, how does she get to tell me who to invite??? As for worrying how you're giong to look- first off you're gorgeous but I know how you feel. I am starting to panic as well. I wish I had started working out a few months ago. I just got arm weights but don't even know what the hell to do with them and not sure there's time...I want to whiten my teeth and not sure if I like my dress ( it isn't in yet)....it's so different from anything other girls are wearing....I am worried FH will hate it. plus I keep changing my mind about my hair. UGH.
I just want the day to come already and why do the men have it so much easier??? LOL NOT FAIR

Oh yeah i asked my dad from 3 months ago who he wants to invite, sat with him for a while and kept asking 'are you sure nobody else?' i asked him all along the past 3 months and he didnt add more to the list. On friday he asked me if i can write down all of the guests of my parents side so he can keep up with the list and find out who is coming and who is not. Well when i give him the list he realized alot of ppl weren't on it and added 15 people about. I dont mind but i already sent out invites and luckily i had extras so had to do it quick.
I just worry that my hair will end up looking like a mess not when its first done bc i am very confident in the person doing my hair, but just if its windy and what not.
