we are thinking about St.Thomas, Aruba, or Barbados. anyone whos been and can give me some advice would be great.

We went to Barbardos. It was REALLY nice and we have particular taste. The food was amazing. The beaches were great. It is a rich island, so you don't see all of the poverty that you typically see everywhere. We planned the trip two days before we left and never had even heard of Barbados. We just did something wild. We loved it.
I think that if you fly Air Jamaica, you can spend a night or two in Montego Bay (as a free layover) and then go to Barbados if you want. However, having just been to Jamaica a couple of weeks ago, Barbados is definitely nicer.

We are wondering the same thing as we are also getting married in April. We were leaning towards Aruba though I also plan to research Puerto Rico, St. Martin, and St Thomas.
I read that because of Aruba's location, hurricanes and horrid weather in general isn't too common there. This was definitely a plus in my book! I'd love to hear what other spots April birdes are consdiering

I wanted to do barbados too.. My friend went and said she loved it.. but.. My fsil, just went to puerto rico and stayed at El Conquistador, she said it was AMAZING.. the beach is beautiful, the hotel is absolutely amazing, food is great, reasonable priced, and they have a seperate ' deserted' island.. you can go and spend the whole day there.. it sounds beautiful.. I'm torn between: st. lucia, barbados, and Puerto Rico

Aruba would be beautiful in April. The Divi Divi resort is all inclusive! My sister stayed there for her HM and love it!

We are going to Aruba in MArch, the travel agent said its 82 degress year round, the rainy season is late sept. thru late nov.

We stayed at the Fairmont Glitter Bay. Like I said, I did absolutely no research. I did not even research the hotel. But it turned out to be good. We also went to Puerto Rico and stayed at the Ritz. We both thought PR was lousy. The hotel was nice, but the beaches weren't that great and the water wasn't that blue.
