Hi, girls..i'm an 08er, but I am not taking my honeymoon until 09 bc i am a teacher and have to wait for the breaks. I was going to go over Christmas break, but it's way too expensive. So now, I was thinking Feb break and was wondering if anyone else has planned or booked for that week. Just wondering where you're going, and if it was ridiculously expensive or not. Thanks!

I doubt it would be expensive but then again, every island has its own high/low season--maybe you can check that out first. Also, lots of families travel around this time bc some schools close so there are always alot of kids around.

it depends where youre going.
if you plan on going to the caribbean, mexico, anywhere in that general area, then between december and april are their high season because its prime time to go there.
but if youre planning to go to someplace in europe then thats their low season and cheapest time of year

I am a teacher and whenever I travel over Feb. break it is a fortune. We just went to Florida this past Feb. and paid almost 1,000 just for airfare for two people! it's the winter and everyone travels that week to get away.

we went to PR in the first week of Feb. The flights were from Jet Blue and they were 99 both ways. The hotel cost us about 500. it was either just underneath 1K or at 1K for the tickets and hotel. Definately try Jet Blue if your looking to fly domestically. I love them!
