FI wants to know what there is to do there, and I am not sure what to tell him. So many of our friends have gone there, and I am dying to as well, but now I'm not sure why.
FI has to be doing something at all times, no pun intended! My mind is in the gutter...
He cannot just relax on the beach or sit by the pool, he gets so antsy it drives me nuts. I go into a social coma when I am laying out, don't bother me, but I feel bad when he's not having a good time.
We got engaged in Mexico last month and he kept asking me 'What do you wanna do?' Jet skiing? Parasailing? Snorkeling? Scuba Diving? NO!!!! I just wanna lay right here and do nothing!!!

My parents have been to greece a couple of times and love it there, but said it was extremely hot (depending on a certain time of year). There is a lot of sight seeing, but I am like you and want to lay by the pool or beach and relax.

I went to Crete Greece on my HM. We took 3 day trips, one which was to Santorini.
On the local beach there they did have jet ski's, water skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, para gliding. They even had snorkeling at the ruins.
They have everything we have here.

I'm taking a Mediterranean honeymoon and there are three ports in Greece (as well as four in Italy, and one in France, Spain and Croatia). That might give you the honeymoon spot with stuff to do.

I would have loved to have gone there on my HM- weather was not appropriate though-- keep that in mind, they have a temperate climate there.

The weather will be cooler there that time of year - low 60's...That'w why we nixed it as a honeymoon option. I want at least 75 degrees!!

they have like the same weather as us.. Actually we nixed Europe entirely since we felt we would not get beachy weather anywhere.

We are thinking about Greece too. Howver, we are postponing our HM until June so we can do the beach and sightseeing thing.
