I just went to Travel Solutions by Marcia to discuss my honeymoon. I wanted to go to Hawaii on a relatively low budget. Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to go on the budget I gave, but I met with Marcia, and she really worked with me, and it looks like it's going to happen after all! She showed me all different hotels, cruises, so many different options, and she told me honestly her opinions about different hotels, islands, etc. I am so excited! FH has never been to Hawaii and is dying to go, and I went twice as a kid and have been dying to go back ever since. It is so gorgeous there!

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
We have not booked anything yet because we are still going through our options and trying to decide. We definitely want to stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kauai though; the travel agent and also some friends of ours told us that this hotel is awesome. We are visiting Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
BTW: If you are going to stay in Oahu, don't spend a lot of time there; there's not much there other than Pearl Harbor

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
we're going to Hawaii too! We are splurging but there are some really great deals out there- the Ritz Carlton in Maui has rates under $300 a night which is really amazing for a Ritz!
We're also staying at the Hyatt in Kauai as well as the Hyatt in Maui.
Have fun! Good luck planning!

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
We are going to HI as well. We are staying in Oahu for 4 days at the Halekulani, pre-cruise and in Maui for 6 days, at the Hyatt, post-cruise. I would really suggest checking out fodors.com forum boards. People place so much info on there on their past vacations and things to do. It is very informative. There is plenty to do in Oahu not just Pearl Harbor. There are so many other sites to see besides that and staying in Waikiki. For those going to Maui and Kauai I would suggest purchasing the Maui Revealed and Kauai Revealed books. Do a search for the books and the website should pop up. ALot of people recommend purchasing these books as they have sooo much detail info on the activities. 4 months for me and I am in paradise. I can't wait!!
