In the process of booking moneymoon. Right now it is RT air from JFk, straight through, 3 nights in Honolulu, 6 nights in Maui and 5 in Kauai. Staying at the Hyatt the entire time and rental cars for maui and kauai. Breakfast included. about 7,600 and 8,400 if want to go with ocean front. Does this seem like a lot of money?
Any recommendations on hotels or islands and must sees?

that seems about right. i am stying 2 nites on oahu at the hilton, 4 nites on kauai at the hyatt, and 6 nites on maui at the fairmont kea lani flying from jfk first class and all inter island flights came to 9,000

just curious you are flying direct to hawaii from JFK, we were told in order to fly direct we had to leave from Newark???!!

sounds about right to me. We did not have direct flights, but otherwise did almost exactly the same thing as you.

I havent booked it yet but going to def. look into the straight through flight, right now we have a lay over in LA.

We went JFK to LAX to Maui. I don't think there are any directs from JFK to Hawaii.
