Honeymoon in Hawaii - Long Island Weddings
I'm going for my honeymoon and have been before. I've done all the islands but this time we are doing Oahu and Maui. I'm staying at the Outrigger in Oahu and Fairmont in Maui. Depending on the island there's a lot to do. In Oahu we are going to hike Diamond Head and go to Pearl Harbor. In Maui we are going to do the Sunrise Halekala (spelling?) bike ride (done it previously and it's amazing.) We are doing a luau just because I feel like you have to do one in Hawaii. We are also doing the drive to Hana. In Kauai I've done ziplining, which is a lot of fun. I've also done black sand beaches, rafting through the volcano canals, hiked a volcano, etc. There's so much to do depending on what you like.

We are doing those exact two islands too, Oahu and Maui! 5 days each. Thanks for answering! Those were helpful. I am up for anything.

Honeymoon in Hawaii - Long Island Weddings
We're not going on our HM there but that's where we got engaged. We stayed at the Hyatt in Maui & in Kauai. I definitely recommend them! Beautiful! There are some pics in my album. We opened a Hyatt Credit Card and got two free nights so we used them in Kauai because it was more expensive. I definitely would do parasailing, Road to Hana, Volcano Sunrise Bike Tour and a Luau!

Honeymoon in Hawaii - Long Island Weddings
Im literally on my honeymoon now and we did 3 islands oahu, kauai and maui. Here is my suggestion...dont do 3 islands...go for 2! I suggest maui & kauai; there isnt much to do in oahu. If u do oahu highly suggest turtle bay resort! Def. do the helicopter tour on each island, well worth the money! In Mauai we stayed at the Sheraton which was beautiful and it is on Black Rock which is a very popular area. The luau in Maui is the one you want to do...the feast at lele is the most romantic and its not buffet style. The other luau (cant remember the name off the top of my head) is where the hotels will steer you but i can tell you its fanily style with lots of kids...not good for honeymooners. In Maui do the Road to Hana it us breathtaking and you see tons of waterfalls. Order the CD tour guide online...highly suggested. Haleakla is the volcano...they suggest going at sunrise but anytime it is beautiful! In Kauai i stayed at the Grand Hyatt....higy recommend it is gorgeous! We did helicopter tour with Jack Hart company and it was awesome! Also recommend atv tour and sunset dinner cruise of yhd napali coast!

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
We did 3 full days in Oahu and 7 days in Maui.We loved Oahu. We stood at Outrigger Reef on the beach. I found it quite and a great location. It was about a 5-10 minute walk from the city. We did Pearl Harbor the first day. The second day we rented a car from 9am to 9pm (parking is expensive). We hiked Diamond Head and they drove to the West end of the Island. We stopped at various food trucks, saw beautiful beaches, turtles and the sunset.
In Maui, we did Road to Hana, bike tour (totally recommend), laua, black sand beach, plane ride and a little more R&R.
I don't recommend doing all 3 islands. Interisland travel can get pricey and time consuming (a 20 minute flight can take 2-3 hours between arriving in the airport and if there are delays). Also, it is a hassle to pack and unpack.
