To those who are going/have gone to Maui, what activities did you do and what do you recommend.
Also, could you let me know what companies you used. Thanks!

Re: Honeymoon in Maui
If you do the a luau on Maui -- you have to do the 'OLD LAHAINA LUAU' We both liked this one better then the one we saw on Oahu.
Here's some information(I copied this from a website).... 'The Old Lahaina Luau - Traditional Hula and Feast NEWSFLASH: The Old Lahaina Luau is nearly sold out for June and some dates in July. A great alternative is the Feast at Lele ...
The Old Lahaina Luau is not called 'the Best Hawaiian Luau' for nothing. The luau grounds are authentic (see the interactive panorama below), the personal service friendly, the local Hawaiian food divine, and the traditional hula dancing is phenomenal (see the photos and interactive photo slide shows below). Be greeted with a beautiful flower lei upon arrival and step back in time for a night of entertainment journeying through Hawaii's rich past. The luau night begins at sunset with a traditional Hawaiian Imu ceremony, the uncovering of the roast Kalua pig from its underground oven. After a delicious Hawaiian style dinner, relax and take in the energy-filled, pounding rhythms of the live drum band and watch as the island's best luau dancers tell the story of Hawaii through their enchanting hula. No trip to Maui Hawaii is complete without a luau, and none other compares to the Old Lahaina Luau. Please note that the Old Lahaina Luau assigns the seats on a 'first come - best seated' (see the interactive seating options display below) basis so be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible. Also remember that the Old Lahaina Luau is usually fully booked a couple of weeks in advance, another reason to make your reservations well in advance. '

Re: Honeymoon in Maui
FH and I went on a vacation and took a ride on Hanna Highway (spelling)... you drive on the edge of a mountain through a rain forest, you see beautiful views, rainbows, pass a winery... you get a map w/ all different stops along the way... great picture opportunity...

We are doing this too. And
'MOLOKINI SNORKEL CRUISE, MAUI-MOLOKAI SEA CRUISES AT MAALAEA FOR TWO ( 2 ) PERSONS.
[This is a must-do activity on Maui. Molokini looks like a little island off Maui, but it’s actually a partially submerged volcanic crater; snorkeling within the crater is known as one of the world’ 10Best Snorkeling/Dive spots. You’ll snorkel at both Molokini AND “Turtle Town” with every imaginable colored fish, octopus, even endangered sea turtles which grow to 500# and 100 yrs old; unbelievable fun. You might even try the optional SNUBA. I love this particular cruise as this company delivers the best service; includes complimentary RT transportation from your hotel, continental tropical breakfast, delicious maui-style buffet lunch (vegetarians accommodated with 24hrs notice), unlimited DRINKS (great mai tais’!), and all gear, and the best crew on the island; I do this activity at least once every few months; it’s great fun.'

Re: Honeymoon in Maui
Bike Ride down Haleakala - we used Maui Downhill.
Four Winds snorkeling to Molokai
Rent a Harley if you can and drive around the island!
It was very good - we even bought the CD of the music afterwards.
We did the Old Lahaina Luau and snorkeled at Black Rock which is at the beach at the Sheraton resort. We also went up Haleakal volcano to see the sunrise (went with tour group) but didn't bike down. If you like to bike then you will like this but I haven't biked in years and I'm glad we didn't do it because you are on the brakes the whole way down and you have to stop many times along the way down.
We did not do the road to Hana which I regret but I wasn't feeling great the first few days and I can't stand how DH drives but I didn't want to drive it myself.
CherylBooch did a day trip to one of the other islands - not Molokini - and said it was excellent.
ps: We also went to the Maui Winery which is on the Haleakala volcano but not part of the sunrise tour.
