We don't want to do anything Carribean, instead we want to go somewhere exotic.. (that has nice beaches too). We initially wanted to go to Greece, but i hear the weather is not going to that good..
Any ideas?

we went to Hawaii in Oct It was absolutely amazing! DH wants to move there now.
It was so nice that I had completely forgot that it was fall back here...I was so surprised to see that the trees had changed colors when we got home!

i don't know about greece since they are having so many economoc troubles and the country itself is in turmoil

We'll be going to Jamaica around that time (Nov). The weather is beautiful there that time of year. And the best thing is, if it happens to rain, it's literally for no more than 5 mins and the sun is still shining.
I actually just googled weather for Jamaica in October and here's what came up
We want to do a cruise that goes along the coast in South America and through the Panama Canal. It leaves from Miami and ends in Los Angeles.

We're going to Australia. They have opposite seasons as compared to the US, so it will be May-like weather.
Last fall FH and I went to France and Italy, and the weather was perfect. Sunny and not too hot.

We went to nice, monaco, santa margherita, portofino and cinque terre from 9/11 - 9/20, so a little earlier than you would go. But it was definitely warm enough to go to the beach in France and Cinque Terre was super hot.

to add onto the Australia suggestion...you can do New Zealand, it's not actually beach weather (it's in the 70's), but you can combine it with a few days in fiji to get your beach fill in.

October is a beautiful time in Italy. I'm assuming it's similar in Greece. November is when it starts to get cold. We're going to Italy for 2 weeks.

Look into a combo new zealand/Fiji trip like a suggested above...The fiance and I feel the same way (that we would get bored) so it's something we first looked into(there is so much to do in New Zealand), but decided instead on a Safari in South Africa for a week and then a week laying on beach in the saychelles

Look into South America. We're doing Argentina in November and the weather in all 4 of our destinations looks like it will be amazing!
