Honeymoon In Peru?

Has anyone been to Peru? I was just looking at pictures and it is gorgeous! Any recommendations?

Last night I had a dream I was at Macchu Piccu (sp?)...

Does anyone know if Peru is safe for travel, even? I tried to look at the National Security site, but that always scares me, no matter what country they talk about!

My husband is Peruvian and we will be planning a trip there hopefully this year.. He says its safe to travel there

its absolutely safe, have no worries about that!! Is is no more dangerous then walking down the street in midtown manhattan....would i walk around with my purse wide open, no, but other then that you would be fine!
