Honeymoon in Spain??

My Fh and I are thinking about going to Spain in the fall. Anyone been to Spain. We have been to Italy,England, and Croatia so we know Europe.

I was thinking Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona 9 nights?

You will love it!!! A few years ago, my sister and I traveled through Madrid, took the train to Seville, and then went to the Costa del Sol for 3 nights. It was amazing! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to go to Barcelona, but I hear it's beautiful.

It does get chilly there in winter though.....

we did barcelona and madrid.. it was awesome!! loved every second of it.. and we're not beachy people, so it worked out well.. we explored each city.. did nice dinners.. chilled, hung out.. it was great!!

we worked with travel tom!

I've never been there, but I had a ton of friends who went and they absolutely LOVED it. They went 6/7 years ago and still talk about it sometimes.

See if you can include Grenada (I went to Barcelona, Grenada, Sevilla and Madrid) and Grenada was my favorite. They have a beautiful Moorish castle there called Alhambra that is one of the most amazing sites I've seen in all of Europe. Also more of an old world feel then you'll get in Madrid and Barcelona. I would go to the bookstore and take a look at Rick Steve's guide for Spain. That's who I use when I travel in Europe - they have great suggestions for where to go, where to stay etc.

Alhambra is an easy drive from the costa del sol or even Seville - you can make it a day trip.

We did day trips to:

Toledo
Granada
Rhonda
& The Alhambra

San Sebastian is THE most romantic city in Spain...maybe even the Meditteranean! It's a beautiful northern coast beach town...right on the border of France.

There's a lot to do in those three cities with only 9 nights. I would suggest saving Seville for another trip to travel the south of Spain. You will have a great time! It's a good time to go, won't be too hot and dry.
