Honeymoon Madness
Sooo, as some of you know we will be going to Tennessee for our honeymoon. Originally, we were going to stay at the Heartbreak Hotel to get the full Elvis experience. Then we spoke with someone who had been to Memphis and we bought a book on Memphis/Nashville and found out that Heartbreak Hotel isn't in a very good area, and that it's best to stay in the downtown area b/c that's where all the cool city stuff is. Soooo we decided to extend our honeymoon and stay half of the time in Memphis and half of the time in Nashville. So I booked a really awesome hotel in each city and then called the Heartbreak Hotel to cancel. They had absolutely no record of our reservation. I even got out the confirmation email they had sent me and told them the confirmation number and they had a completely different person listed for it. So... had we not decided to switch hotels and lengthen our trip, we would have arrived at the Heartbreak Hotel and they would have had no rooms reserved for us!!!!! Unbelieveable!!! But now I'm so excited b/c instead of a 6 day honeymoon to Memphis, we are doing 5 days in Memphis and 5 days in Nashville!!!! Yeehaw.
