HONEYMOON---Need your opinions!!!

Ok I need your honest opinions..out of these 2 cruises, which would go you rather go on?

1) Royal Caribbean 7 night cruise out of Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta

or

2) Norweigan Cruiseline 7 night cruise of of NYC to Bermuda (Kings Wharf)

We have never been on a cruise and I can't friggin decide! We would rather go to the carribbean but i'm scared of hurricanes. If we take the one out of NYC we'd be saving around $500 but I don't know if that is a big deal at this point since everything all together will be like 7K

I need to decide today though because my mom needs to call and reserve it for us. Ahhhh!

*edit- sorry I forgot that the Bermuda cruise is Norweigan cruiseline

bermuda is gorgeous, and unlike many other tropical locales, it's also safe. we did a norwegian cruise out of NY to bermuda. we had plenty of time on the island, and the public transport system made it really easy to get around the island from our port. GL!

Bermuda is GORGEOUS. Also its great that you leave out of NYC, saves time on flying plus money. Although you could always get to LA a few days earlier and spend some time there or even for a day.

But im confused, are you saying that the cruise is $7k? if so then neither. Theres no reason a cruise to bermuda alone should be 7k, and the other one which is basically just mexico also should not even be close to 7k.

Dh and i went on the crown princess 2 years ago and the destinations were puerto rico, st thomas, bermuda and turks and caicos and it was $4k(it left out of NYC so we didnt have to pay airfare, plus when we went on the ship it was BRAND NEW, the first cruise went out end of may-beginning of june and we went on the 3rd voyage of the ship in july.

If you want to stick to a cruise i would find another one if you are paying 7k for it. For close to this price you might as well do a european cruise

most still are about that price, usually a cruise just to bermuda wont be THAT much and even cruises with numerous destinations will be close to that price.

ETA: also with norwegian, Ive heard that its an older crowd. Never went on a norwegian cruise but seems to be what alot of other people have said, maybe someone else can clear this up. I think with Royal caribbean you'll have alot more ppl around your age. Not sure if its a concern for you and something to consider.

Sorry, i should have explained more. We are going to Disney first for a week. So i've calculated in the week in disney (food, tix, extras) + the cruise (and exercions, alc, extras). So overall it should be between 6-7K

I voted neither I prefer land, just to be difficult. Haha j/k.

If I had to choose between the two though, I'd say Bermuda, but I just really have no desire to go to Mexico. I think Bermuda would be a little more tropical and different too.
