Since I can only get off 2 days following out wedding, I am looking for a getaway weekend maybe on the jersey shore. We have to leave NY to Maryland where we live. I would be grateful for any hotel or B&B suggestions. I have never been to the Jersey Shore and would like to get away briefly after the wedding and be by the beach. thanks in advance. Nancy
Cape May is beautful--tons of amazing B&B's there-- then you might be able to take the ferry to Delaware (will that help you to get to Maryland) or is my geography off(most likely!!!)

No offense, I wouldn't go to the Shore for a honeymoon.. unless you want to be around a whole bunch of guys and girls getting funked up and loud music..
I'd def stick to what the other girls suggested..
Also, have you ever thought about Providence or Newport, Rhode Island?? I've heard wonderful things about that place!!

Spring Lake is gorgeous and NOT AT ALL the scene of a bunch of guys and girls getting funked up!!
ALthough the NJ Shore has it's share of places that do....Spring Lake is not one of them...
It's super clean, beautiful beaches and gorgeous scenery (ie..very wealthy neighborhood with AMAZING HOMES) You are more likely to be surrounded by families than anything else....
