Does anyone have any honeymoon ideas that would cost around $2000?

Florida Keys, Carribbean cruise, Bermuda cruise, atlantis resort in the bahamas, new orleans, las vegas, etc

Its not a bad budget!

This is over, but I paid about $2900 for Riviera Maya Mexico, 8 days 7 nights, ALL INCLUSIVE.

I'm pretty sure you can do an all-inclusive in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for that price... also look into some Mexico spots.

I would definately say...a cruise. I went on a cruise last November...6 days, 5 nights to the carribean...and it was @$500...including airfare. Since all food is included (except alcohol) you should be able to do this on your budget. Good luck!!

I would definitely recommend a cruise. If you take one that leaves from - New York City, Philidelphia, or baltimore you would not need to fly - so you could save on airfare - and they include all your meals - so you would only need to pay for excursions, alcohol, and soft drinks

We did our Honeymoon at an absolute STEAL!! I will FM you the info!

ETA: We did a cruise out of NY... I did a TON of research and I got a travel agent to meet an online price...

DH and I went to Fajardo, Puerto Rico and stayed at the Wyndham El Conquistador resoort - airfare and hotel (ocean view with balcony!) for under $2k. We booked through Expedia.com and our HM was wonderful.

I got really lucky and got RT airfare to London for $327 each. I pricelined our hotel and got a nice 3 star for $65 a night, so our Air and Hotel will be $1210 or so.

You can also use Priceline for an all-inlcusive to Jamaica or DR. You pick your resort and price - the only thing up in the air is the flight times and airline. I got counterquotes of under $2000, air and all-inclusive hotel (all food, drinks and sports) taxes and everything for I think it was 7 days in Jamaica. Breezes resorts, the Jamaica Grande Renassiance, etc. Grand Lido Braco was $2400 or so.
