Honeymoon Opinion & Poll

We have had the hardest time trying to figure out where to go/what to do for our HM. For me, the HM is 1000 times more imporant than the reception. I work in the travel industry which makes it worse..if you know too much about something you tend to over-think things.

We did know we didn't want Tahiti or Hawaii BUT we did want something that was all-inclusive (we are both fond of the drink)

Here is the choice:

#1 Riviera Mayan Secrets Excellence for 10 days-Oceanfront Exellence Club Room

OR

Riviera Mayan Secrets Excellence for 5 days (same room type) and then a Royal Caribbean So. Carib Cruise aboard the Adventurer of the Seas for 7 days (balcony suite)

I am getting price breaks bc of my industry discount.

All other suggestions are more than welcomed!!!

i'm not a fan of cruises....but that's just me. i'd go for the 10 days at secrets excellence. cause if you go on the boat for 5 days, drinks aren't AI !

I agree - not a cruise fan so I voted for number 1!

Although I've never been on a cruise, sounds like you'd have the best of both worlds with #2 Britt. Whatever decision you make, you'll have a blast anyway, but I voted #2.

I have been on a cruise and swore I would never do it again although it sounds nice. I would have to say #1

San Jaun, Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten & St. Thomas.

OK-don't laugh but I've actually done this ship and itin before but bc I'm in the industry their isn't much I haven't seen/done in the carib (I hope I don't sound like a total jack @ ss)
I've also been to Riviera Mayan twice.

FH hasn't been anywhere in the Carib other than the Bahamas (which technically isn't even the Carib)

I say cruise combo! We're doing a cruise for 7 nights/8 days and then on land for 5. It breaks up the time a bit so you're not just hanging around doing the same thing over and over, but thats just my opinion

THESE TOUGH DECISIONS SUCK!!!

I like the combo... When we were in DR doin' all-inclusive, we both said it was great, but we would have gotten antsy after a few more nights (we were there for 5 I believe). Thats why we are breaking our HM into two resorts..... so we don't get sick of it.

Secrets Excellence is great, but honestly, 10 days could possibly get boring.

I KNEW what you were going to say and might I add that your HM resort is nothing short of FABULOUS!!!!

No matter what I go with we HAVE to meet up for at least a cocktail or two
