I told you guys about this already, but we still haven't come up with anything. For our honeymoon since money is extremely tight, my sister is letting us use her Timeshare in a Disney Resort for 5 nights. The thing is, is that we'll be there for Sept. 2-5 and then again Sept. 8-10. So, we need somewhere to go for the 3 nights and 4 days in between. That's why I mentioned the Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas, because it leaves on Sept. 5-8 which would be perfect. I just wanted to do something romantic, and more laid back in between. I want to go the US Virgin Islands, but with all the traveling, and plane switching it takes up so much time, and it's going to cost more than I first anticipated. I thought maybe we could go there for our 1 year anniversary and stay a week... I don't know! Does anyone have any suggestions that we could do that's romantic for those few days? Thanks so much!

Honeymoon options...FL Keys
Ride down to Key West its beautiful and very different from the Disney experience. We were there for only one day, it was a stop on a Carnival Cruise but we plan on going back to stay for a while.

I was just about to mention the FL Keys! A co-worker has visited and said it was amazing!
Or what about Aruba, Curacao? They are closer to Florida.

I wrote back to your post above, then read this one. You can make of the 3 day cruise what you want of it, didn't mean to make it sound like it was only for party-ers. There's gambling, dancing, shows, food 24hours a day, nice dinners (you get to get dressy one of the nights), pool, hot tub, or you can just relax in your room. I would recommend it. I liked the cruise better than the bahamas. If you've never been there before just be forwarned that the bahamians can be a little pushy. Other than that it's great.

I want to suggest a totally different idea- consider going to New England. It is sooo beautiful up there. You can stay in a B&B three nights in Maine and 2-3 nights in Vermont or New Hampshire. Or you can do a few days in Boston. You will not have to pay for airfare and Disney can cost a lot very quickly.
Just something to consider.
