Honeymoon Package Help --- Bora Bora/Moorea/Tahiti

I am having a dilemna.....
The difference in price between the two is $2000 ---- thats spending money I could use there -
Can anyone give me any advice???

If i would choose Bora Bora & Moorea --- it would be Deluxe Intercontinental Moorea Garden Bungalow 4 nights & Bora Bora Orient Express Overwater Bungalow 4 nights
American Meal Plan - breakfast & dinner - included on both isladns over 9k

-----or------

Tahiti LeMeridian Lagoon View Room 4 nights & Moorea Intercontinental overwater bungalow 4 nights
American Meal Plan - Breakfast & Dinner included on both islands around 7k

(includes flights from JFK)

Whats my best bet?

OMG first of all DON'T stay @ the Le Meridan!
We hated it!
it $%#ed!
I have someone's name (travel agent) that can work out awesome pricing for you - he gets the price from a wholesaler when you do the complete pkg w/airfare.
He saved my DH and I about a savings of $5G

FM me for more info - My friend Jenn is on the Wed board like myself 'Tursto'she just got back from Moorea she can also give you plenty advise about that island.

She went to both islands BB and Moorea - she loved both , she said BB is a bit more desirable.

My DH met couples @ BB and they confirmed the above. I have tons of good info on BB!

I would personally do Moorea and Bora Bora, as opposed to more days in Tahiti.....but I guess I'm biased because that's where we are going....FM me if you want my price quote from Travel Tom....it's a lot more than your quotes BUT it's more days..

I would not spend that much time in tahiti. When I went I only stayed for one night and thinking back I probably would not have even done that. Back when we were looking they recommended doing Tahiti for shopping - but the shopping was nothing special and we ended up buying whatever pearls we wanted in Moorea

I am also having the same predicament and I think we are going to do Tahiti and Bora Bora but i have been getting such expensive rates. Can you please tell me how much your were spending and who you used? I am going in July 2008, when are you?

definately moorea and bora bora! we are only staying in tahiti because our flight lands late..tahiti is more commericalized than the other islands..
