Honeymoon payment plan??

Does anyone know if you use a travel agent can you make payments to them? We've blown through what we had so far and will have more money coming to us at the end of the year and after the new year so I'm wondering if they allow a payment plan.

Honeymoon payment plan?? - Long Island Weddings

We had to pay for our airfare up front, as well as a set amount for the hotels and I think some of the tours had to be paid in full. Honestly, it ended up being well over half the total cost of the trip.

Honeymoon payment plan??

We used a travel agent and we had to pay the airfare in full and then a deposit on the hotel but didn't have to pay the balance until a month or so before so we could have done payments. I think most travel agents give you that option but some you have to pay off further in advance then others.

I used jan from Island shore travels. I met her at the LI Wedding showcase in the spring. She's been really great and let me do everything over the phone with her.

Honeymoon payment plan?? - Long Island Weddings

We had to pay the airfare up front plus $200 deposit ($100 for each of us) for the hotel. The remainder of the balance is due a little over a month before our travel date. We also got insurance which we had to pay up front. We aren't doing any excursions so I can't help you with that.

Honeymoon payment plan?? - Long Island Weddings

If you book a cruise (at least in our case) we only had to leave a deposit and the rest is due 90 days before, but we can make payments off the balance online whenever we want.

Honeymoon payment plan?? - Long Island Weddings

We put down $2,000 to make the balance a little less and paid for our airfare in cash - I think it's mandatory to pay for your airfare in full but our required deposit was only $500.

We don't have to pay the rest until a month before the honeymoon but we can make payments as we want.

Honeymoon payment plan?? - Long Island Weddings

We're going to Paris in Feb for ours and we paid a deposit of $608 which was really just airfare - three months later the next installment was due, and there are two others after that. I'm no sure on the exact timeline anymore because now FH's parents are paying for us (woo!) but my agent definitely had a great schedule!
