honeymoon predicament

So I'm having an issue with my honeymoon. We are already booked 7 nights in Aruba and then are supposed to fly to St. Maarten for 3 nights. The airline that we will be flying between Aruba and St. Maarten is called Insel Airlines. I booked through a travel agent and she said that these unknown carriers are the only ones that fly between islands in the caribbean. So my predicament is that I'm REALLY NERVOUS about flying an airline I've never heard of or anyone I know has flown with. I spoke to the travel agent this morning and since I have trip insurance it will be easy to make the switch to somewhere else for the second part of the trip. I told her to look into options for Miami (South Beach) as I can fly American Airlines. Do you think I should just suck it up and go to St. Maarten? Or change and go to Miami instead? Thanks for your advice/input :)

honeymoon predicament

I've flown small airlines where the planes were even smaller, going from island to island in the Philippines, and it was no big deal. The flight was smooth and short, and no more than an hr. I'm sure this will be just like that, and that your TA wouldn't recommend an airline that isn't safe. I suggest looking them up on trip advisor to see what people who've flown with them have to say to better help you. :)

St. Maarten is really nice! I went once in college and loved it. My parents have a timeshare and go there for 2 weeks every year and they absolutely love the island! I hope whatever you decide works out for you!

For $1000 just suck it up....I'm a horrible flyer but go to your doctor get some Xanax for the flight and you will be ok

Just took Insel Air from Aruba to Curacao. It was fine (I'm a nervous flyer) I just booked the biggest plane they offered.

Bucuti was AMAZING!!!

You will not want to miss St Martaan....it is so picturesque! Esp to pay money to NOT go!!!! It is so different than Aruba...just pop half a xanax as I am sure the flight is short OR have a nice mimosa on your HM before you fly! It will be such a great experience!
