Honeymoon - Puerto Rico,

As some of you may know, FH & I are going a cruise for our honeymoon, we leave from Spain, spend 3 days in the Canary Islands, before trekking across the Atlantic, we stop in 2 Caribbean ports before docking in Puerto Rico...

We decided that we want to spend 3 nights in PR, preferably at a an all-inclusive, since I'm thinking it would be better for our wallets... I'm having a hard time finding an all-inclusive in PR...

My BFF suggested Las Casitas, (which is not all inclusive) and very expensive, the lowest rate for a room, was $271/ per night, with the AAA discount

On a google search I found Wyndham Rio Mar, which again is not all inclusive for $485 for ALL 3 nights, with the Costco Members discount, which sounds AMAZING to us! We're thinking how much can meals be if the rooms are that low... According to the pics, on the website, it's gorgeous...

Anyone been there? Can anyone share, the good/bad & / or Ugly? Suggest another location in PR?


*I know that we will be in PR at the end of their Hurricane season, and we're fine with that, PR is most at risk in September... We live on the beach in the hamptons, and deal with the risk of hurricane risk, at home, we won't left it effect the extended portion of our honeymoon, before it's back to reality

We stayed the Wyndham Rio Mar last year. The hotel is nice but more than an hour from the airport and Old San Juan. It is close to the rain forest though. But we had an all-inclusive package from BookIt.com.

The rain forest you can just go to and get the tickets. We took a cab from the hotel - it was cheaper then booking through the hotel.

For our Honeymoon we stayed at the Ritz which is 5 mins from Old San Juan - it was amazing. And we got a free room upgrade and breakfast thrown in every morning by our travel agent.

I dont have any PR suggestion, but I can tell you that I have family in Canary Islands, I was there 4 years ago and I had the time of my life. You guys are going to love it there.

Hmmn, I'm having trouble finding the all-inclusive option on book-it.com... any suggestions, idk why I'm having such trouble

We did 2 nights in puerto rico before our honeymoon cruise. We stayed at Hilton Caribe which was nice. I mostly wanted to add that we did a rainforest tour + bio bay kayaking excursion and the bio bay was one of the coolest things we did on the trip! We went with this company click .
