Hey Girlies! I am curious where everyone is going on their HM - we are looking into an all inclusive for adults only somewhere warm, have a great travel agent helping me with this already, we are looking into el dorado royale, i have heard amazing things about this place, but the bad things that i have heard are REALLY bad. FH was in charge of the HM dept but that hasnt made much progress at all. ANY info you girls can give me would be SOOO great! in advance. TIA

I highly recommend Excellence Riviera Maya. This is where we got engaged and it was such an amazing place! All inclusive, beautiful, etc. FM me if you have any questions and check it out on tripadvisor.com!

We went to Sandals St. Lucia also but we stayed at the Halcyon- I have a review up on the Brides Review board and also have photos at this link:
when you went to St. Lucia - did you get a flight with a big plane there or take one of those smaller planes to get there? curious because im TERRIFIED of those tiny itty bitty planes

We ended up going to Grand Cayman Islands, but almost went to St Lucia- I have heard great things about it and definitely plan on going there one day! A friend of mine HM'd there and showed me beautiful pictures and said she had an amazing time!

It was a direct flight (DH knew I hated to switch planes and such). We flew in a regular size plane that went from JFK to Barbados to St. Lucia- I didn't mind the stopover since Barbados is only a 10 min flight from St. Lucia.
We flew Air Jamaica but they stopped flying to St. Lucia- I do know that Delta I think flys there- all regular size planes.
It was a beautiful HM and DH and I want to go back for our first anniversary too.
Feel free to FM me with any more questions.

Re: Honeymoon Question...
lol: I wouldn't go for that propellor plane thing either- I generally don't like flying but it's a 6 hour flight to St. Lucia- Air Jamacia is the airline that we took but they don't fly there anymore- Delta I think does or some other airline.
I told DH that I only would do direct flights - they do have the small propeller planes on the island and they're used mainly for island hopping since Jamaica and Barbados are about 10 min flight away from St. Lucia.
It's a really beautiful island and with Sandals it's an all inclusive resort- they have three on the island (Halcyon- if you love the beach and basic watersports I'd suggest this one- it's the one that DH and I stayed at- very cozy and I loved the staff and the food, Grande- was bigger and had lots of watersports like parasailing -which is xtra charge to do there, and the Regency is known for it's golf course and the resort is huge). You can stay at one and play at all - everything is included except excursions and souviniers , spa, and few other things too that are not bad. They have shuttle buses that go from each of the three resorts up until 11pm- there's no time change either since we're on daylight savings time atm.
We went into town via a prearranged taxi shuttle to and from the resort (cost $30 for the two of us just for the taxi but we had like 4 hours shopping time - 2 hours in two diffrent spots) and we went on one excursion. The weather was beautfiul- never rained (unless it was a 5 min sunshower) and it was no less than 80 degrees all the time there.
We stayed a week but if you can do more than a week I'd say go for it but at least if you decide to go, do it for a week at the least.
