Just curious...I should book my plane tickets under my maiden name because I wouldn't have changed my name yet right?
Or can you change your last name before the wedding??

Re: Honeymoon question
Wow I didnt even think of that. It might be easier to do it under your maiden name so there's no confusion.

Re: Honeymoon question
i think your maiden name bc you cannot legally change your name until you have your marriage license signed by the officant.....but i could be wrong about this

Re: Honeymoon question
i would use your maiden name because you have to show your current id to board the plane and that will still have your maiden name

Re: Honeymoon question
I'm thinking it makes sense to book the plane tickets and passport under the maiden name, since there won't be enough time to get the drivers license changed....

Re: Honeymoon question
Hmmm never thought of this.....I think I'll be using my maiden name. I won't have nearly enough time to get a new license and passport with the married name.

Re: Honeymoon question
I am 99.9% sure you use your maiden name - as all of your IDs will still be in your maiden name (license, passport, etc). Plus, I think you have to submit the legal docs to have your name officially changed after the wedding... Double check with your travel agent though....

You have to have a boarding pass with your name on it or they won't let you on the plane. Use your maiden name because that is what will be on your liscense/passport which they will use to verify...

thats a great question, just don't get ur id changed to his name till u come back then. this way ur name will be the same on the ticket and id. will save u alot of problems.

Re: Honeymoon question
Whatever is on your passport!!! bc if you have one already its in your maiden name, and you can't get another one until your lisence says your married name. You won't get your new lisence for a while and then when you apply for a new passport they take a few weeks. Unless you are waiting a while to take your HM I wouldn't risk it, def book under your maiden name.
