Has anyone been to block island that is were we are going for our honeymoon can't really. Any suggestions of accommidations and food would be greattt!!! Thankyou

Your best bet is to rent a house for a week or two! Better start looking now b/c Block Island fills up fast!
My FH and I will be there sometime in July with our friends.

My FI actually proposed when we were at Block Island in October. I loved it there! Many great trails to walk (be sure to bring water) and beautiful sunsets on the beach. We stayed at the National Hotel (right by the ferry dock). They also had a nice restaurant. There was a nice restaurant where we had dinner after he proposed which was really good. You'll have a wonderful time!

We went there when we were just bf and gf and I loved it. I would say it was probably one of the most romantic places I've ever been. We stayed at the Rose Garden Inn which had views of the ocean and the hills from our room. There were a ton of nice restaurants to eat... sorry I don't remember the names of any, it was a few years ago. But it is beautiful. Private beaches you can take your bicycle to and have the entire spot to yourselves. Lots of hiking trails with beautiful wildflowers just growing on the side of the road. No commercial places - not even a McDonalds!!
I would recommend getting bicycles instead of scooters because you can go more places with the bicycles. Some paths don't allow the mopeds.

OMG I love Block Island. I think that is where we are going on our mini HM. There is a place... Im searching for the name... it starts with a B. Its right by the Old Harbor. They have an amazing view of the ocean and their food is just as good. If I remember the name Ill get back to you.
