HI guys, I am new to this site. Your review was awesome. I am planning my honeymoon to either Greece, Fiji, or Bora Bora. Any suggestions? Bora Bora looks awesome. Can you give me an estimate of how much it costs, if you feel comforable---just so I have an idea. Also, did you use a travel agent or book through the internet?

Re: Honeymoon Question-Greece, Bora Bora, or Fiji?
We were considering Fiji until we saw the 22 hour flight. That is way too long to be sitting on a plane for our honeymoon. I have also read that Fiji has a lot of political instability and are now under control of the Fiji Army.
We are most likely going to Tahiiti/Moorea/Bora Bora for our honeymoon.
From what I understand Bora Bora is pricey, but how often do you go on a honeymoon?

I absolutely LOVE the Greek islands!! Its so gorgeous - great culture, history and beautiful scenery !!!! Tough call between the 3, although I would go with Greece (actually I think we are going to Greece and Italy for our honeymoon)

I have been to Greece but not any other places. If I were you I'd do Bora Bora.....I see those pics of the little huts on the water...I'd kill for that!

We went to Moorea and Bora Bora on our honeymoon in late November. Wow! It is such a beautiful place! Bora Bora is the most gorgeous place I've ever seen. It really looks better than the brochures! We used an agent in California who is certified with the tahiti tourism board as a specialist. She didn't charge a fee (she should have charged me...I emailed her constantly with questions haha!). She goes there alot and knows all the current deals and specials. Lisa Jones at Santa Barbara Travel American Express. ljones @ sbtravel . com We stayed at the Intercontinental Thalasso in Bora Bora. The overwater villas are gigantic, very fancy inside, and have the best view of the island. In Moorea we stayed at the Sheraton. We checked out some other resorts while we were there and the Sheraton had the best beach. The snorkeling was great there too. We went to Fiji a few years ago and the plane ride was endless. I liked Tahiti better. It is really expensive, but hey, it was our once in a lifetime trip so we splurged. best, evon
