Re: Honeymoon Question - Who had a private pool?
There are definitely a few places that have this. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Las Brisas in Acapulco- they locals call it the babymaking hotel. The hotel we stayed at the Mayan Palace, has small pools in on the decks of some of the patios too.

Re: Honeymoon Question - Who had a private pool?
also Sandals Regency in St Lucia has private 'plunge pools' they call them right off bedroom and living room of honeymoon suite. You can float candles in it, etc. It is surrounded by shrubery. We'rethinking seriously of going there for honeymoon. Anyone been there?
The Sandals Grande in St Lucia has swim up entrance off the regular pool but no private pools.

Re: Honeymoon Question - Who had a private pool?
We did it. We had our own private pool outside our villa in Mauritius. Its nice to have, but we literally did not use it once.
We went to Bali and had private pools at 2 of our Villas. We used them but defintely not as much as we thought we would. I was nice to skinny dip though

Re: Honeymoon Question - Who had a private pool?
Sandals Regency St. Lucia ( goes for about 8-9,000 for the week) You need to pick the higher room categories with the pool. The lower one is horrible. No sun and the water is cold.
Sandals Antigua, New Plunge pools out side on eo fhte higher rooms categories
Sandals Grande St. Lucian... Walk out into a Lagoon type of pool. Not Private,
GOOD LUCK
