Well we like the idea of doing a land/sea package from Disney, but here's my issue Our wedding is May 8th, (sunday) and the vacations they offer are sun-sat, we'd be paying for a whole day we won't be using, we are have an late afternoon wedding and reception.. any idea's?
Do you think we could plan it ourselves, like 4 days in the Disney area and then fly down to the Bahamas for 4 days...
Disney online quoted me $3,541.00 for the two of us. Do you think I could get it for cheaper if I planned it myself?

Hi there!!! I was trying to do some research for you but my computer at work is going crazy today, and boots me everytime i try!!!! ( i will try later). but i was just wondering, would you want to leave for your honeymoon the following week?? that way you dont lose a day that you are paying for???? I think if you fly to disney and then fly to the bahamas, it is going to be more expensive than if you were to do the land sea combo. ill look around for you though, i think u can definitely get it cheaper than what disney quoted you!! good luck!

Are you able to get a military discount ? Does anyone you know or do you belong to any clubs? I know when my family stayed at the Caribean ( SP?) Beach Resort at Disney we didn't really pay it was so cheap. Look into Disney and maybe they have some sort of club or something where by being a member you can get a discount.
I'll contact my family in Fla. and see what they can find out. A family friend used to work in the Public Relations Dept. there . I'll ask her.
