allure is apparently much more energic than me. I read a bunch on my honeymoon -- sitting out on the beach listening to the waves... ahhhhhh....

I read Valenia's picks and loved them all - very good beach reads! The Notebook is one of my all time favorites! Also, check out The Nanny - so funny and a great quick read! good luck!

I read The Charm School on our HM - like the others said, you'll have time to read on the beach, the plane, etc.
I highly suggest The Devil Wears Prada - perfect summer beach book!

it's similar to the Nanny Diaries, only better. it's a light read, but very entertaining. The author is young so it's perfect for anyone in their late 20s early 30s.
