Hello all! I am looking for recommendations of resorts or hotels that are reputable and classy (charming, nice, good service, etc) for our honeymoon.
We are considering Hawaii and the Caribbean. Also if there is anything reasonable in Tahiti (mostly it's over our budget), I'd be open to that too. In the Caribbean, St. Lucia, Barbados, USVI, St. Vincent- they all interest me but we're open to any other islands we may not have thought about.
We want a relaxing honeymoon with natural wonders and other things we can see.
Also has anyone ever gone on one of those privately crewed yachts? Just wondering how that was.

St. John is mostly a natural park...heard that there are many natural wonders to see.

great - thanks- looking for some good resorts that aren't the obvious big ones (sandals etc) but not 'dinky' or too tiny either...
GH wants to go to Hawaii so thats wehre we are going!

We are going to Hawaii for our HM. In Oahu, we are staying at the Turtle Bay Resort. If it's good enough for Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Debra Messing, I guess it is good enough for us! And in Maui, we are staying at the Hyatt Regency.

We went to the Four Seasons in Nevis, it was absolutely incredible! We would have entertained Cap Juluca on Anguilla but it's closed the month of September. Both top notch food, service, etc...

FH and I went to Punta Cana in Dominican Republic in June. We stayed at Secrets Excellence. All inclusive, (included drinks too) it was beautiful and they offer a lot of excursions. (We swam with nurse sharks and sting rays, it was beautiful) FH went scuba diving, I'm too chicken. :)
