Honeymoon registries???

For those of you that have done honeymoon registries, what exactly do you register for..... Do you need to have your exact HM place picked out before registering?

Have you heard any feedback from family or friends in regards to whether or not they think this is a 'frivolous' type of registry??? or was the response positive

you pick your honeymoon and register at a website then you send people to the website and they buy you things to do on your honeymoon...like suba diving, horseback riding, romantic candlelight dinner for two..stuff like that

its an option for couples who don't want a traditional registry because they have pots and pans and all that already
