Hey Ladies, Happy Friday!! Has anyone else signed up for one of the Honeymoon registry sites such as Honeyfund.com or Honeymoonwishes.com ?
I am thinking about doing it. Honeymoon Wishes charges you a small fee and Honeyfund is free. Apparently people can pay $$ towards your honeymoon and then these websites send you a check. You dont even have to book through the companies they are affiliated through. Sounds too good to be true!!!

Re: Honeymoon Registry???
Hi Guys....I used honeymoonwishes.com. I just checked out honeyfund and these seem to be differences:
honeymoonwishes charges a 7% fee, slightly nicer website(pictures of activities and such), the fee can be incorperated into gift price or added on, and guests buys from website and the site sends you check (whenever you request it and however many times) Bad thing 7% fee
honeyfund is free but it looks like your guests print up certificate and give it to you with a check or cash-or they can set up a paypal acct and then the honeyfund will send you a check(but that incures a fee).
Both sites allow you to create webpage w/ pic
I think I'm gonna stick with honeymoonwishes...I look at the fee as the same thing as guests paying shipping or giftwrap. I think my guests wouldn't want to hand me a check but rather pay a website...this may make them feel like there giving an actual give not just cash. Both seem good though
One last thing....I think honeyfund is free b/c they give there advertisers your email..but not 100% on that.

Re: Honeymoon Registry???
I signed up for the Disney Honeymoon Registry yesterday actually. It is a little different. On the registry you put things you want...like spa days or dinners.
