HoneyMoon Registry?

I have not booked my honeymoon yet nor have I started any registries. We all ready live together and have furnished our house completely so we were thinking of doing a honeymoon registry. Has anyone done this and have any feed back? Are there any good companies to go with to make the registry? I do not want our families credit information winding up in the wrong hands.

One of my gfs did this but did not register anywhere else, basically forcing everyone to contribute to the honeymoon. While I didnt care (i just wanted to get her something she really wanted) there were many older ladies that thought it was rude to not register somewhere else becuase they had no other options but to get the honeymoon registery. She did get alot of random stuff though from macys, which I felt bad about. But I think older women are just like that, you know ... tradition and all that. lol
