Re: honeymoon registry
im not doing it but i think you can go through tavel agents or there are websites like thebigday.com and others if you do a search.
i think it allows guests to purchase specific things to use on your hm

Re: honeymoon registry
We're going to do it and did a little research. If you use one of the online sites..READ THE FINE PRINT! many sites take a lot of $ from the guests contributions. And some sites will give you a voucher for the specific thing bought.. i.e. a manicure... and if you don't use it, you're out of luck where as others will just give you a check to cover basically anything you need/want.
We decided when we book our HM, we'll just set one up through our travel agent who will issue us a check for the money put onto our registry. I'm not 100% sure of all the details though.

Re: honeymoon registry
We booked our honeymoon at Sandals and opened up a Sandals registry not too long ago. People can't buy us specific things but whatever money they put on it is applied to whatever we decide to do (dinner on the beach, massage, overall price, etc)

Re: honeymoon registry
I think I am going to do this...we are using my Travel Agent who sets it up for free and doesnt take a percentage of anything.

Re: honeymoon registry
yes. we are doing it.
We decided to do it through honeyfund.com.
It does not charge a percentage and the guest gives me the money/ check in the card. A lot of guests will like this because they wouldnt feel to comfortable giving their credit card over the phone or internet (especially the older guests).
Here's mine. Someone already bought me something for my engagement party. my honeyfund
